Moving on the Wentworth Estate
The Wentworth Estate is private, with its own roads and rules. Long drives usually let the van park right at the door. Before the day we ask about gate access, any times the estate prefers for removals, and the turning space at the house.
- Estate rules checked — access and timing agreed before moving day
- Firm ground — we park on hard surfaces and keep off lawns and soft verges
- Room-by-room loading — so the new house is set up quickly
- Wrapped furniture — blankets and film on every large piece

Packed, wrapped and set up in your new home
Our team can pack the whole house or just the fragile rooms. Boxes are labelled by room, furniture is wrapped before it moves, and everything is placed where you want it at the other end.

Moving home in Virginia Water: what to know
Virginia Water is quiet and green, but its private roads, trees and soft verges need a bit of planning for a large van.
Parking for the van
Wentworth and most Virginia Water houses have long drives. Egham town centre and the streets near both stations have more restrictions. Surrey County Council handles bay suspensions and yellow-line waivers (fees in the FAQ below). Surrey County Council guidance →
Student moves at Royal Holloway
Royal Holloway, University of London, is in Egham. Student room and house-share moves start from £62 for a small load, with a fixed price online.
Wooded roads & verges
Many roads have trees, grass verges and soft ground. We check turning space and stop on firm surfaces, so neither the van nor your lawn suffers.
Egham & the station area
Streets near Egham and Virginia Water stations have more restrictions. If the van cannot stop by the door, we tell you early whether a suspension or waiver makes sense.
Sunningdale & Ascot: Berkshire councils
Sunningdale and Ascot are over the border in Berkshire, so street parking there is run by a Berkshire council, not Surrey. We check which council covers your address and follow its rules at both ends of your move.
Close to Windsor Great Park
Roads around the lake and Savill Garden get busy on sunny weekends and bank holidays. For moves on those days we plan an early start.

Roads & routes we plan around
From Twickenham we come via the M3 and the M25 (junction 13 for Egham) or along the A30, which runs through Egham to Virginia Water and on to Sunningdale. The B389 and the roads around the lake connect the village. We avoid the M25 at its busiest whenever we can.
Everything for your Virginia Water move
For larger homes we can pack everything or just the fragile rooms, move pianos and single pieces of furniture, and arrange storage if you need time between homes. Moving nearby? See removals in Weybridge, removals in Guildford and removals in Twickenham.
